Greg Heffley

Gregory "Greg" Heffley is a middle school student who attends Larry Mack Junior Middle School and is the main protagonist of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, as well as the main antagonist and supporting character of the Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid series.
He is the best friend of Rowley Jefferson and the second son of Frank Heffley and Susan Heffley, with Rodrick and Manny Heffley being his brothers.
He resides with his family at 12 Surrey Street.

Rodrick Heffley

Rodrick Heffley is the older brother of Greg and Manny Heffley, the son of Frank and Susan Heffley, and the drummer, founder, and leader of the rock band Löded Diper.
He is the oldest son of the Heffley family.
As Greg's brother, he appears as a major character and major antagonist throughout the series, and serves as the main antagonist of Rodrick Rules and as the protagonist of Diper Överlöde.

Susan Heffley

Susan Heffley, is the wife of Frank Heffley and the mother of Rodrick, Greg, and Manny Heffley.
She is also the daughter of Grampa and Gramma and the sister of Cakey, Audra, Veronica, and Gretchen, she is also the aunt of Malvin and Malcolm.
She is the secretary of the PTA who once worked as a preschool teacher, and once was the substitute teacher in Greg's class.
She is a major character in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

Manny Heffley

Manny Heffley is the younger brother of Rodrick and Greg and a supporting antagonist who is constantly pampered and spoiled by his parents.
As the youngest child of the Heffley family, Manny plays a major role in Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, having appeared in all the main series books to date.
However, he has never been a protagonist in the series.
In fact, Manny appears to be the favorite child of Frank and Susan.

Frank Heffley

Frank Heffley is the serious and overactive father of Rodrick, Greg, and Manny Heffley.
He is the husband of Susan Heffley and the oldest son of Grandpa Heffley and Nana Heffley he is also the elder brother of Joe Heffley and Gary Heffley.
As Greg Heffley's father, he appears as a major character throughout the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and the online book, and he also plays the main antagonist in
The Last Straw and the film adaptation of Dog Days.
